  3. Start a Google search, and then search again until you see a statement that supports the claim.

  4. Look for other people who have different opinions on the claim.

  5. Lastly is avoiding misinformation to spread. You've probably heard the phrase "If only I knew then what I know now." When it comes to fact-checking, you'll know a lot more about the issue you're researching after going through the points above.
